The 24th International Conference on Nuclear Energy for New Europe (NENE) is an annual meeting of professionals from nuclear research and educational institutions, nuclear vendors, utilities and regulatory bodies. It took place in Portorož, Slovenia, 14-17 September 2015 and attracts around 200 participants in more than 20 countries. The topics discussed include probabilistic safety assessment, severe accidents, nuclear power plant operation and new reactor designs among others.
INETEC represented the VORTEXSCAN team with a lecture (publication) under the title: “Vortex Robot for Rapid Low Cost Scanning and Improved Non-Destructive Testing of Large Concrete Structures”. The paper is available here and the proceedings here.
